The Digital Preservation Coalition's popular drop-in session #DPConnect will be returning on Friday 29th October for a weekly ad-hoc, off the record conversation about all-things digital preservation. <https://www.dpconline.org/news/dpconnect-returns-oct21> All are welcome at #DPConnect and there is no need to register: simply show up at the new time of 1300 UTC every Friday for thirty minutes of lively and light-hearted chat with colleagues around the world. #DPConnect will run every Friday. #DPConnect is designed to be short and deliberately informal, not more than 30 minutes each week and with no set agenda: participants are invited to come and talk about what they are working on, share work problems and challenges - or just say hello! As a new addition we will add a theme to #DPConnect on the last Friday of each month. These sessions - which we're calling #DPClinic - will pick a popular digital preservation topic each month and invite discussion, debate and controversy around shared challenges in preservation. Participants are invited to bring questions, queries and challenges on the relevant topic, as well as stories of what has worked well for them; or alternatively just to listen in to the discussion.
