We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Web Archiving Conference (WAC), 23-25 May, 2022. This year’s conference will be held online, and is organized in partnership with the Library of Congress, one of the IIPC’s founding members. 

 

The conference will be a mix of pre-recorded presentations made available to registrants ahead of WAC, and live Q&A sessions during the conference. The draft program for WAC is available on our website: https://netpreserve.org/ga2022/wac . 

 

We have sessions on a variety of web archiving and digital preservation topics, including social media archiving, teaching the hows and whys of creating and using web archives, using web archives for research, preserving electronic literature and digital art, and collaborative collections. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Program Committee for their work in bringing the program together.

The International Internet Preservation Consortium (IIPC) is an international organization of libraries and other organizations established to coordinate efforts to preserve internet content for the future.
