Hi Emily,

No, I don't think so. The host for next year's conference is usually not
known until *after* the present conference finishes. It's typical to have
an informational breakout session for the groups who are considering
hosting. Part of the hosting proposal is providing one or more date ranges,
so those are entirely up to the hosts. Buffalo, for instance, chose a later
date than past years, but that's not to say that the next host won't follow
suit. There's no written rule saying Code4Lib must always be in March.

I'm not sure when hosting proposals will be solicited; the current year's
local planning committee is responsible for that, but I'm sure they're busy
with the impending conference.
