I find it’s usually insecure people who want to make sure they say something during meetings, so people remember they exist, but their taking usually wastes everyone’s time rather than actually helping. There’s a time for requirements analysis on a project, and after its been implemented isn’t it. If there’s something so fundamentally wrong with whatever you implement that it’s not going to work, then obviously they should implement the correct version, because I don’t know what I’m doing. (Have I ever mentioned that I used to work with Phd physicists?
