Just a reminder (or if you didn’t see the first notice), we have an open position: https://library.umkc.edu/jobs/digital-projects-fellow/ * Application deadline August 31, 2022 * Candidates must be current MLIS students or recent grads (within 6 months) * Primary project: DEIA audit of UMKC Libraries’ digital collections * Remote eligible in the United States * $20 an hour, 20 hours per week The Digital Projects Fellow will work closely with the Head of Digital Projects and the Metadata Librarian, to provide direct support for a major DEIA (diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility) assessment of current digital collections. This Fellow will learn and engage with digital collections best practices. As part of the project, the Fellow will have opportunities to interact with librarians and specialists from other departments, receive mentorship for professional growth and development, and help connect with and cultivate a professional network of his/her/their peers. This position is a gift-funded, part-time, remote eligible, non-benefit eligible academic appointment through May 2023, has no supervisory responsibilities, and reports to the Head of Digital Projects.
