Building upon a diverse range of collections as data
experimentation, the time has come to assess the state of the field on an international level - our challenges, our aspirations, and prospective ways of working together. In order to chart future directions for our community, Collections as Data: Part to
Whole is holding a collaborative international working event in Vancouver, Canada from April 25-26, 2023.
Collections as Data: State of the Field and Future Directions will inform the production of a white paper and subsequent multinational collections as data initiatives.
We hope to have a lot of varied perspectives, so if you have interest/engagement with collections as data - whether from an archives, computational, metadata, user, or any other perspective – please join us!
See the full call for participation
here and apply by December 1!
