Dear colleagues,

Registration is now open for the 2022 IIIF Online Meeting, to be held December 6-8, 2022. The Online Meeting is intended for a wide range of participants and interested parties, including digital image repository managers, content curators, software developers, scholars, and administrators at libraries, museums, cultural heritage institutions, software firms, and other organizations working with digital images and audio/visual materials.

This year’s program features demos from community groups, lightning talks, and discussions meant to introduce newcomers to the International Image Interoperability Framework and to provide a forum for experienced practitioners to share their experiences.

The Online Meeting is free and open to all, but advance registration through Zoom is required

The International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) is a set of open standards for delivering high-quality, attributed digital objects online at scale. It’s also an international community developing and implementing the IIIF APIs. IIIF is backed by a consortium of leading cultural institutions. The IIIF Consortium (IIIF-C) unites a growing number of global research libraries, national libraries, archives, software companies, digital agencies, and aggregators with a set of shared goals.
