My esteemed listmates, I've read some reviews of phone calling with a tablet. There were some good reviews of WhatsApp but the reality seemed quite different. I worked with a patron to download and install WhatsAppon to her Droid Tablet and it wanted her to then scan a QR code. So, then we had to hunt for a QR Code Reader abd there's a ton out there. One wanted to charge her for it as a QR and BarCode Reader but with a limited fixed budget we had to uninstall that one and install a free QR Code Reader. She then had challenges applying the Code Reader while the QR Code was also ons creen. This seemed rather involved. I've used Skype on laptops and desktops to do video calls but I powder what's others experience using Skype for voice calls on a tablet?
