I had not heard of that law. Nice to hear about other states doing this. Still not ADA compliance though, although there are some bills being worked on in the Senate to add digital accessibility to the ADA or at least to the same areas the ADA covers. The Rehabilitation Act, which includes Section 504 and 508, apply mostly to government-related entities. Not to be too nitpicky, but the ADA does not contain web accessibility standards. Most likely, you meant that Scalar is no longer meeting WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2 AA conformance. WCAG 2.1 AA is the most recent version of these guidelines, but in the USA at least, the only legal requirements is that Section 508 requires WCAG 2.0 AA conformance. Also, was Scalar even conformant before? Most big data viz software in my experience tends not to be.
