29 March 2023 | 15:00 CET

Speakers

Matthew Addis (Co-Founder & CTO of Arkivum).

Overview

ARCHIVER <https://www.archiver-project.eu/> is a European Commission
supported project that addresses the needs of Long-Term Digital
Preservation (LTDP) of scientific research datasets. The project developed
novel service offerings which are targeted at the estimated 1.7 million
European researchers and 70 million professionals in science and
technology, public and private sectors combined, that are expected to make
use of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).

This webinar will explore Arkivum’s experience of being part of ARCHIVER
and the journey it has taken us on. We’ll be covering the objectives of
ARCHIVER, the way that the project operated, the results that the project
produced, what this has meant for Arkivum, the challenges and successes,
the highs and the lows, what’s happened since the end of the project,
what’s happening next and more.
