Good morning, A reminder that the Standards & Practices Interest Group Quarterly Meeting is today. Dr Jimi Jones of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will speak a bit about his upcoming book with Dr Marek Jancovic of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam about the development of video standards. The book is called The Future Of Memory: Lossless Standards In Video Preservation and will soon be published by the University of Illinois Press as part of its History of Media and Communication series.
