Hello, DLF--

The University of New Mexico, as a Data Curation Network Ambassador Institution, will host an in-person data curation workshop October 23-24, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico! We are incredibly excited about this opportunity, and hope you'll consider joining us. Applications are open now through August 25-- so don't delay and apply today!

This free two-day training session expands on the CURATE(D) workflow as a training foundation to bring together library data specialists, discipline and functional experts in a peer-to-peer learning environment. You can view our workshop curriculum for an overview of our workshop agenda. Participants will be invited to create or update a data curation primer individually or as part of a group.

We especially invite applications from individuals at minority serving institutions, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Hispanic Serving Institutions, and members of historically oppressed communities. Applications are open to international participation. A limited number of seats will be reserved for applicants from the US Southwest. While there is no cost to attend the workshop, attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel.

Apply now or learn more about this workshop opportunity.

Happy Wednesday,
Mikala
