This is a Dell computer, have you considered buying the battery from Dell.com?  That would cut down the pages and pages of sources and you would be assured that the battery actually meets Dell's standards.  But note that Dell does not make its own batteries.  It is not unlikely that they, too, purchase them from offshore manufacturers.
