AGENDA: Dr Jimi Jones (UIUC) will discuss standards for video preservation (the topic of our cancelled July meeting)

Dr Jimi Jones of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will speak about his upcoming book with Dr Marek Jancovic of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam about the development of video standards. The book is called The Future Of Memory: Lossless Standards In Video Preservation and will soon be published by the University of Illinois Press as part of its History of Media and Communication series.
