Dear Spotlight adopters & the Spotlight-curious,

We, the Spotlight-focused teams at Harvard and Stanford, have been meeting regularly in this last quarter of 2023 to plan a unique event: the “Spotlight on Spotlight” summit, scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.

Our goals for this summit are:

  * To rejuvenate the community forum around Spotlight<https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/SPOTLIGHT/Spotlight+Community+Wiki>, encouraging sharing and collaboration.

  * To provide an engaging platform for those who are curious about Spotlight.

  * To revisit and update the Spotlight Community Roadmap<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1K154p9sv6QfXCvu2C6Tj8hmRmUsa6pH456gst1if1M0/edit?usp=sharing> that was initiated in 2019, and identify the priorities of our community.

  * To gauge interest and availability for a focused community sprint.

The summit will consist of 3 one-hour sessions, spaced approximately 2 weeks apart.

  *   25 Jan, 8 Feb, 22 Feb

  * 10:00 am PST, 11:00 am MST, 12:00 pm CST, 1:00 pm EST

Rest assured, all sessions will be facilitated, have clear agendas, dedicated note-takers, and will be recorded for future reference.

We sincerely hope you'll consider joining us for this exciting event. Let's put the spotlight back on Spotlight together! Stay tuned for a January 2024 reminder with additional details.

Best Regards,

Cathy Aster, Stanford University
