Hi Erich, A patron was concerned re: the print as it did print stringy and so many I've printed for the past 5 1/2 years have printed well so they can get spoiled. I have spent countless hours with trial and error which is why I've learned to print a myriad of objects well. I'm not assigned 8 hours a day to 3D printing nor even to Makerpsace so I don't have tons of time for trial and error which I share what I've learned with others but there is a learning curve on every print; never a guarantee. Some 3D forums can be helpful sometimes. Simplify 3D can sometimes detect what's wrong with a point but they share advice concerning a printer we don't have so it's apples to oranges. I wish our printer was better supported by the manufacturer but that's not the case. There seems to be even less support for the Cricut machine as their "official" forum has not been super helpful so far. If your teen son has found any helpful forum(s) for 3D printing and/or the Cricut machine I'd appreciate those thoughts. Thank you. Charles.
