This is a great opportunity to get involved with the DLF, a community of practitioners who work to advance research, learning, social justice, and the public good through the creative design and wise application of digital library technologies. We are seeking support in the following areas: * Program - Committee members review the Call for Proposals; review submissions; help develop the Forum program based on submissions and peer reviews; and assist with facilitator responsibilities leading up to and at the Forum if applicable. Work begins in January and continues through the virtual event in October. * Community - Committee members create a local guide for attendees and brainstorm, plan, and lead social and wellness events during the DLF Forum, with a mind toward inclusive and welcoming experiences. Work begins in late spring and follow-up continues for a few hours each month leading up to the virtual Forum in October. * Reviewer Only - Reviewers read and provide feedback on submitted proposals during the review periods, which may number from 5-15 reviews per person per period. This commitment is limited to two short periods in early March (in-person event) and again later in summer 2024 (virtual event). Time commitments vary, and in-person attendance at our events in Michigan is not required for participation.
