Hi everyone,

Our next Levels of Preservation office hours session is on Wednesday, April 17th at 11:30am Eastern Time.

We are excited to share a special themed session where we will discuss the Levels of Preservation Digital Curation Decision Guide.

Originally published in December 2020, the Guide forms the basis of a series of decision points around collections and the implementation of a preservation strategy. Designed not just for the preservation specialist, but for all curators of digital collections, it attempts to highlight the preservation implications of collections decisions from the perspectives of collections development, intellectual and security considerations, and technical capacity. It is designed to facilitate dialogue between and among stakeholders across a given organization.

In this special open office hour, we will share and explain the Digital Curation Decision Guide, and invite an open discussion. We are keen to hear about your experiences with the Guide within your own organizations, and also share knowledge if this resource is new to you! Do come along with your questions and stories to share.

The agenda and notes document (which includes joining details) can be found here.

We hope to see some of you there!

All the best,

Angela
