*Digital Collections Coordinator: *
Mid-career position that provides leadership for digital projects within
the Metadata Services and Digital Projects department and throughout the
library system. Collaborates and serves as consultant to library units
and branches on the growth and maintenance of a variety of digital
projects; provides technical support for the maintenance of the
library’s existing open-source and licensed digital content management
systems; plays a lead role in the implementation of new technologies.
Supervises 4.5 FTE classified staff in the Digital Projects and Catalog
Management Team. Has responsibility for database maintenance and quality
control and works closely with the Digital Projects and Catalog
Management Librarian (see below). Located in Metadata Services and
Digital Projects Department, Knight Library. *Qualifications required:*
ALA-accredited MLS/MLIS; minimum of two yeas post-MLS experience working
directly with one or more digital content management systems. Reports to
the Head, Metadata Services and Digital Projects. Salary: $40,000
minimum, depending on education, experience and qualifications.

*Digital Projects and Catalog Management Librarian: *
Early career position that manages digital projects and directs and
plans the daily work of the Digital Projects and Catalog Management Team
staff members who are responsible for management of the library catalog;
directs work involving the organization of traditional and digital
library resources using established and emerging bibliographic control
mechanisms, metadata standards and content management systems; provides
quality control for the online catalog and digital content management
system; assists with defining policies for use of the local integrated
system and CONTENTdm; maintains appropriate system tables, coordinating
work with Innovative Interfaces, OCLC, and other vendors to monitor and
enhance system applications and obtain and process bibliographic,
authority, and other related records for use in the local catalog.
*Qualifications required:* ALA-accredited MLS/MLIS; minimum of one
year’s experience using metadata schemes and content standards;
experience working directly with one or more digital content management
systems. Reports to the Head, Metadata Services and Digital Projects.
Salary: $35,000 minimum, depending on qualifications, education, and
experience. Fully paid state retirement. No State Sales Tax. Tuition
