LAC seeks Taxonomy/Ontology Specialists to work on-site in Washington DC. The Specialists must have an expertise in information organization and classification, including most of the following technologies and engineering practices, with an emphasis on automated tool and technology expertise: taxonomy and ontology development, XML and OML schema development, data dictionary development, content or entity extraction, commercial search engines, technologies, metadata and metadata creation and tagging, indexing schemes, implementation and operation of automated tools to support scheme integration and analysis, taxonomy and ontology workbenches and analysis tools.Must have excellent communication skills and experience in training is desirable. Must be conversant in business processes modeling.
