About Islandora Camp
Come learn, work, and play at this year’s Islandora camp. Held between July
20-22, the second Islandora camp provides introductory and intermediate
sessions conducted by the Islandora specialists. In the morning, sessions
will be held for special Islandora topics. Beginners can learn the basics of
building and configuring collections in Islandora and seasoned developers
can participate in advanced sessions. In the afternoon, folks will have the
opportunity either to work on the development of a collection in Islandora
(from data they bring with them or can access remotely) or to work on an
Islandora challenge. Throughout the camp, Islandora developers and
librarians will be available to help you learn to customize Drupal at your
home institution. You will also have the opportunity to learn about our
roadmap and become a part of the project. As part of the camp's
'unconference' atmosphere, sessions and the structure of the day will be
partly chosen by you.
