Sunk costs, institutional inertia, and the existence of "Project
Client", basically. If Omeka had a desktop client I would fight to have
it replace CDM here, but I don't think CDM would go away even if we
brought in Omeka. Project Client is, for us, the killer app.
I guess the other issue with creating a CDM wiki is that it might bring
up some issues around proprietary code/IP.
