Took me 4 hours start to finish, 10 minutes to make it work, 3 hours 50 minutes to convert 24k user accounts to work with it. So yes, I think it is doable. I'll see what I can put together for documentation. It will be written assuming using Windows server 2008 with IIS7. It can be done with IIS6 on Server 2003 but would require someone that knows both pretty well.
