Thanks Andrea, looks like there is some interest here. To follow up on Andrew's question about modes of moving forward, it seems to me that the email list is our most useful asset for facilitating these kinds of discussions. In this respect, I could imagine some model where there is a bi-weekly discussion question that we put out to the list and let people dig into it to the extent that they are interested.

I should also like to make explicit that there is a standing open invitation to anyone on the list who wants to comment on these kinds of issues to share those comments as a guest post to the LoC digital preservation blog. With this in mind, anyone who wants to publicly share some discussion piece, or commentary, we could post there and then keep discussion going over the list. The guest blog posts approach has the added benefit in that the ongoing discussion and commentary itself becomes an output from the group.

Thrilled to see some back and forth on the list on this.

Trevor

I'd like to participate in such a discussion. With the caveat that I can't attend the Tuesday calls, so would appreciate any other mechanisms.

David.
