It is actually for a job I am interested in. I have no SQL experience in depth at all. Just some using Access.

Right, sorry, should have made myself clearer. Do you have previous experience with creating database queries? I can't say I have any real recommendations, but it might help others. (And you might be able to get away with a more general book on sql and then look through the online documentation for specific problems).
