**Job summary: **  
The Evergreen Coordinator is responsible for implementing and managing the
Missouri Evergreen Consortium. This position will be responsible for the
migration, implementation and training of each public library in Missouri
Evergreen. The Coordinator will also serve as Help Desk support after
libraries go live with Evergreen and will continue to provide training for the
member libraries. The Coordinator is responsible for informing the consortium
of news and updates and will serve as liaison with member libraries and the
Missouri State Library. The Coordinator will work in collaboration with the
Evergreen System Administrator and the MOBIUS IT & Web Services Coordinator in
order to fulfill the required duties. The Evergreen Coordinator reports to the
MOBIUS Executive Director.

  
**Detailed description:**  
Coordinate the Missouri Evergreen project. Responsible for Evergreen
implementation. Provide training and support to staff of Missouri Evergreen
libraries. Create and update Evergreen user documentation. Create and update
Evergreen training materials. Travel on-site to libraries migrating and during
their go live date. Participate nationally in the open source community.
Provide Help Desk support to Evergreen libraries. Compile regular statistical
reports concerning the Missouri Evergreen project. Serve as liaison with the
Missouri Evergreen Membership. Collaborate with the Evergreen Systems
Administrator on data migrations & related projects.

  
**Required qualifications:**  
Master's Degree in Library & Information Science. Knowledge and/or experience
of circulation and cataloging systems. Knowledge of MARC records. Training
Experience. Five years full-time professional experience in program
coordination, development, implementation, or related experience. Demonstrated
strong analytical and time management skills to plan, sustain and achieve
positive outcomes. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Three
years public library experience required. Strong customer service focus.
Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal
relations with coworkers and member libraries. Ability to work in a team
environment with minimum direction.

  
**Preferred qualifications:**  
Evergreen experience preferred. Knowledge and/or experience in ILS
administration and reporting tools preferred.
