The Digital Archivist will play a key role in collecting, organizing, and
making available, accessible digital resources relating to the creative assets
and history of the organization. This individual is a service-oriented
archivist who will help with the design, development, and implementation of a
digital and video archive and record management program.
Essential Job Functions:
Design and develop a technical infrastructure for the digital repository and
monitor digitization trends and developments
Oversee the adoption, implementation, and review of new technologies and
methods to ensure quality of cataloging, metadata, and access to library
services
Provide expertise on issues related to archival descriptive standards,
intellectual property right, digital conversion of archival material and
metadata creation
Upload and tag documents, projects, and images
Aid in production of marketing assets by finding appropriate photos/footage
and archiving all photos/footage for future use
Develop, maintain, and provide enhancements to digital library applications to
ensure effective and efficient delivery of library digital resources and
services
Ensure all assets have corresponding licenses and right-to-use waivers also
digitally stored, organized, and up-to-date
Serve as daily digital asset resource for various departments, teams, and
projects
Perform original cataloging as needed
Keep current with trends in web and digital library technologies
Anticipate the photo/footage needs for the project
Assist with continued development and support of overall WWP brand

Required Experience
A bachelor's degree in a media related field or technical discipline and four
(4) years of applicable experience in media services, archival, or related
fields; or 8 years specified experience will be considered. Proficiency in
using computers and media-related software required. Experience using
different modules of integrated library systems. Photoshop or other post-
processing software experience a plus.
