Harvard University IT (HUIT) Library Technology Services is seeking a skilled
systems engineer to join our Dev/Ops team and play a leading role in
transitioning innovative prototypes of web based library applications into a
sustainable, robust production environment. Will collaborate with Harvard
systems engineers, developers and teams around the university to transfer
ownership of source code and working applications into the Library Technology
Services infrastructure and work with product owners to define requirements
for broader use (including open source projects). Will help define standards
and processes for the deployment of new projects and must keep current on new
tools and technologies. Will provide technical support for applications that
are in production.
This is a one year term position, with the possibility of renewal.
