librarian. The Geospatial Information Librarian at the University of Idaho is
a collaborative and energetic individual who has primary responsibility for
providing a strategic vision of and leadership in developing and promoting a
suite of geospatial services for faculty, staff, and students. Duties include
providing reference assistance and research consultation for geospatial
information; identifying and cultivating partnerships with other university
programs on geospatial initiatives; participating in the creation and
maintenance of metadata records for geospatial data in our geoportal (INSIDE
Idaho/Northwest Knowledge Network); evaluating geospatial resources and
collaborating with librarians in related subject areas to identify spatial
