Hi all,

Following up on Andrea's email, the job listing for our affiliated NDSR

FT, 3-year gig project managing NDSR and working on some other digital
stewardship and related initiatives.

(Position overview also pasted below)

As with the NDSR-Boston job, please feel free to promote it around and/or
forward the job posting to good candidates.

Thanks,
Jefferson

The Strategic Programs Specialist is a three-year, full-time, newly-created
position running from date-of-hire through December 2016. This position is
open to both new and experienced information professionals interested in
supporting libraries, archives, and cultural heritage through a variety of
programs, services, and new initiatives.

The positionís main responsibility will be as day-to-day manager of METROís
National Digital Stewardship Residency in New York (NDSR-NY) program, an
expansion of the NDSR program launched by the Library of Congress and
Institute of Museum and Library Services in 2012. The NDSR-NY program is a
three-year, IMLS-funded initiative to build a post-Masterís residency
program for new professionals to work on digital stewardship projects in
NYC-area libraries, archives, and museums. The Strategic Programs
Specialist will be responsible for working with NDSR-NYís Primary
Investigator on all aspects of the program.

The Strategic Programs Specialist will also participate in a variety of
other initiatives including programs offering services for local archives,
grant administration, collaborative projects involving linked data and
digital preservation, and the opportunity to conceive, plan, and run new
projects, workshops, and special events for the library, archives, and
museum communities.
