Kemp Library, East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking an
Information Literacy and Technologies Librarian to facilitate the planning,
implementation, promotion, and expansion of the reach and quality of Kemp
Library's information literacy and instructional programs in support of
student skill and knowledge development, retention, and success. The librarian
will provide leadership and expertise in designing, developing, and supporting
the library's virtual presence, planning its technology infrastructure,
training library faculty and staff to improve their technological knowledge
and skills, and incorporate latest technological solutions into the library's
web presence. This is a full time, continuing tenure track faculty position
beginning in August 2014 and reports directly to the Library Dean. Positions
typically fill at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level, commensurate

Science or equivalent from an ALA accredited program and professional
experience in an academic library. The candidates should also demonstrate
potential for scholarly activities. Preferred
Qualifications:Experience teaching information literacy skills to
undergraduate students; Experience applying instructional technologies to
information literacy and library instruction; Experience creating interactive
teaching/learning tutorials; Education/experience in computer applications;
Knowledge of technical languages, such as SHTML, DHTML, PHP, Java Script, XML,
CSS; Knowledge of Web authoring and graphic design tools, such as Dreamweaver,
Flash, Adobe Photoshop; Experience creating and maintaining web content;
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with a wide range of print and
electronic information resources; Experience with social media; Ability to
establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty,
staff, and the public; Evidence of effective oral, written and interpersonal
communication skills; Ability to work independently and collaboratively; Work
