**Responsibilities**: The Associate Director of Academic Technology reports to the Director of Information Technology Services and the Director of the Center for Teaching, Learning & Assessment. The Associate Director creates and communicates a vision for Academic Technology at Grinnell College and develops strategic plans to realize that vision. The Associate Director must be well informed of the strategic initiatives of the College's senior administration and faculty leadership, with a keen awareness of trends and changes in technology for teaching, learning, and research/scholarship in higher education. The Associate Director is a forward-looking position with a strong emphasis on anticipating change and ensuring Academic Technology is positioned to respond quickly and effectively to new demands. **Qualifications**: Master's degree and ten years of experience is required. PhD in a relevant field preferred. A record of active participation in national organizations and classroom teaching experience in a higher education environment preferred.
