Director, University of California Curation Center (UC3)

The Director of the UC Curation Center (UC3) is responsible
for envisioning and articulating a dynamic and forward-thinking strategic
vision for digital curation, digital preservation and research data management
activities at the California Digital Library, University of California. The
director provides oversight, encourages collaboration and innovation, and
ensures the successful stewardship and sustainability of UC3's systems,
services, and initiatives intended to respond to the scholarly research needs
of the UC Libraries, faculty, students, and staff.
Reporting to the California Digital Library (CDL) executive director, and
consulting within the UC Libraries' ten-campus advisory structure, the UC3
director participates on the CDL senior leadership team in planning and
implementing a comprehensive and coordinated suite of digital library
services. Through active external engagement, the UC3 director represents and
advocates for UC3, CDL, and UC within the national and international digital
library and curation communities.
The California Digital Library is located in Oakland, California.
