NodeXL actually is a plugin/addon for Microsoft Excel. It's quite easy, too. If you have access to Safari, there's a how to book on there.
(the Bokeh is the Python thingy that does like D3 visualizations without needing to use javascript)

Christina - - I actually am a very rusty coder (perhaps my membership in C4L may be revoked) and I haven't taken the time to learn Python etc. I was kinda hoping to find a tool with a nifty UI that would take my inputs.
