Wilfrid Laurier University is an innovative, multi-campus institution with a

1999, Laurier opened its Brantford campus, which today employs over

The Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts in Game Design and Development is a
four-yearhonours degree program to be offered by Wilfrid
Laurier University in partnership withConestoga College,
its design reflects not only the integrative and expanding state of
thepervasive and serious gaming industry, but also the
interests of province of Ontario inincreasing
collaborations, partnerships, and pathways between colleges and universities.
Thisdegree draws on the expertise of two institutions to
provide sfate-oNhe art instruction andpedagogy in a new
type of degree for Wiffrid Laurier University. The BFAA prioritizes hands-
onlearning and the embeddedness of digital creative skills
within the context of narrative,storyteliing, and visuaJ
artistic traditions.
Wilfrid Laurier University Library is seeking a creative, innovative and
experienced librarian toprovide leadership in designing and
developing the library's gaming coliections (both digital
andanalogue) and associated services for the newly
established BFAA in Game Design andDevelopment Program.
Reporting to Associate University Librarian Information Resources
andScholarly Communication the successful candidate will
play a key roie in supporting the ongoingresearch of
faculty, staff and students involved in the program
inollaboration with LaurierBrantforcf
