Kenny - Thank you for your input and for telling us about SAVE. I look forward to seeing the product when it is released. Do you have a timeframe as to when that might be?
All - I'd still love to hear what audio streaming software you're using at your institution.
Cindy

Subject: Re: [CODE4LIB] audio streaming software
Hi Cindy,
Our team here at Texas Tech has just finished developing a system built around JPlayer: https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__jplayer.org_&d=AwIBaQ&c=-dg2m7zWuuDZ0MUcV7Sdqw&r=Ovz5yhoKE5MGNslTevSUssaWQLbkrWWnYXxBgwe8RFc&m=V1bS2VTU2Up490CX9GYRN9C1lfrI8-aSB1eohpBCst4&s=xip1WMrK3hnwK30p_-XEIP-AsYq_dLbrlZmCQI22gb0&e=
We have lots of custom programming around it to create a system appropriate for our audio ETD collection and other streaming audio/video collections.
We call it the Streaming Audio & Video Experience (SAVE) and will be releasing it open source in the next six months.
You might consider building your own system around JPlayer or consider trying SAVE when it is released.
