Hi Laura,
We encountered this earlier in the year with Web of Science databases. As Ranti pointed out, if you've configured Google Analytics to do cross-domain tracking between library domains, Google Analytics will attach some code at the end of cross-domain tracked URLs. We fixed the problem so that Google Analytics no longer adds code to the end of a URL, but I can't remember quite what we did. I won't have time this week but might be able to dig around next week if you'd like. Let me know. Also, do you use Google Analytics by itself or do you use Google Tag Manager?
Thanks,
Paige
