*****OLITA Tech Talks:*****
Have you been working on an interesting tech-related project that you're itching to share with the world? Do you have the inside scoop on a groundbreaking new technology, or an innovative way of using old tech? Proposals are now being accepted for OLITA Tech Talks at Super Conference 2017.
Each "lightning style" talk will have a strict time limit of 5 minutes, plus time for a few quick questions from the audience.
Never given a lightning talk before? Pick up some tips here: https://barriebyron.wordpress.com/2013/02/17/so-you-want-to-give-a-lightning-talk/.
Use this form: https://goo.gl/forms/5LBazrSF5P1fU0hj1, to submit your proposal by November 21. *****Fail Stories β Brought to you by OCULA:*****
βIt is fine to celebrate success, but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.β - Bill Gates
At OLA Super Conference in February 2017 we want to hear about grand failures in academic libraries...in 7 minutes or less! Tell us about the beautiful failure: Was there an event that no one attended? Did a liaison relationship go nowhere? Did an online tutorial crash and burn? Join us in a supportive and constructive environment as speakers share their great ideas gone wrong in a lightning talk format. You never know β you might be inspired!
