As synchonicity would have it, today we're setting up an e-ImageData
ProScan 3000 microfilm scanner (
http://www.e-imagedata.com/ScanPro3000_Overview.html) for a two week
trial. It comes with ABBYY Fine Reader for OCR. The goal is to digitize
our microfilm collection. I'll report back on how the trial has gone in a
couple of weeks, but in the meantime, feel free to contact me if you have
any questions.
