Hi all!
A reminder that the Digital Library Federation is still accepting proposals for the 2017 DLF Forum<https://www.diglib.org/forums/2017forum/>, which will take place in Pittsburgh from October 23-25. The Forum has no set theme so that it may speak to matters of interest to all, including:
· digital library, archives, and museum collections and resources;
· technologies and infrastructure;
· services and programs;
· staffing, education, and professional development;
· social contexts and ethics;
· labor and vendor relations;
· or other DLF community missions, priorities, problems, and concerns.
The deadline for submission is midnight on Monday, May 22. Details can be found on our site<https://www.diglib.org/forums/2017forum/call-for-proposals/>, and you can subscribe to the Forum newsletter here<http://eepurl.com/baReNX>.
Two adjacent events, the Liberal Arts Colleges Pre-conference<https://www.diglib.org/forums/2017forum/dlflac/> (in partnership with the HBCU Library Alliance) and NDSA’s Digital Preservation 2017: Preservation is Political<http://ndsa.org/meetings/>, are also accepting program submissions.
P.S. Super excited about the Forum’s keynoter<https://www.diglib.org/forums/2017forum/keynotes/> this year. Not to be missed!
