ABOUT THE EVENT
You are all welcome to join the 2017 Mozilla Sprint to work on existing and new Library Carpentry lessons or to meet other scientists, artists, educators and engineers and hack code and build projects.
Library Carpentry is looking to build on the following lessons:
- SQL
- Python
- web scraping
- any other suggestions welcome!
Contributions are welcome from librarians, archivists, information professionals, digital humanities researchers ... anyone who wants to contribute to building the lessons and this burgeoning community.

[1] The Toronto Mozilla Sprint is happening at Mozilla Offices at 366 Adelaide St. W. Folks who want to join in and work on Library Carpentry lessons or take part in any other hack activities are welcome for both days, June 1st and June 2nd. Sign up at https://ti.to/Mozilla/global-sprint-toronto and add your name to http://pad.software-carpentry.org/lc2017.
[2] On June 2nd, the makerspace at UTSC Library will also be available specifically for anyone who wants to sprint on Library Carpentry lessons. Just add your name to http://pad.software-carpentry.org/lc2017 if you'd like to attend.
