LYRASIS is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to participate in the day-to-day development and maintenance of the CollectionSpace application under the guidance of the application's Technical Lead. In addition to developing new code, this position is also responsible for release management, technical documentation, configuration management, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be excited to jump in and learn about our field, and will have the opportunity to grow into a more senior role.
CollectionSpace is an open-source, web-based collections information management system for museums and other cultural heritage organizations. CollectionSpace is housed at LYRASIS, an innovative non-profit that supports enduring access to our shared academic, scientific, and cultural heritage through leadership in open technologies, content services, digital solutions and collaboration with archives, libraries, museums, and knowledge communities worldwide.
