DIGITAL PRESERVATION PEER ASSESSMENT WORKSHOP (NORTHEAST DOCUMENT
Date: February 15, 2019
Time: 930 am-330 pm
Location: El Colegio de México, Biblioteca Daniel Cosío Villegas
Building a digital preservation program can be a complex undertaking, but
performing an assessment can help manage the many steps needed to create a
sustainable digital preservation program. Self-assessment and working with
a consultant can both be valuable, but a peer assessment goes one step
further to create a community of support for building and sustaining a
digital preservation program. Participants will leave this workshop with a
peer assessment tool to implement in their own communities and will gain
valuable practice using the tool during the workshop.
Workshop teacher: Frances Harrell, Senior Preservation Specialist
