We are pleased to announce that the Early Bird registration for Documenting Cinema: Film Librarians Conference 2019 is now open. The conference will be held at the Linwood Dunn Theater at the Pickford Center for Motion Picture Study in Hollywood, CA on May 15th to 17th, 2019. The Film Librarians Conference is organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Margaret Herrick Library.
Please visit our website<http://libraryconference.oscars.org/> in order to register and secure your participation! Early Bird registration will run through April 19th, 2019.
The 2019 Film Librarians Conference will build on the discussions and dialogues begun in 2017, providing a continuing forum to explore contemporary debates and exchange ideas and strategies amongst librarians, curators, and archivists who maintain and administer paper-based, motion picture-related collections, as well as students enrolled in related graduate programs. The conference will explore a diverse range of topics and foster a stimulating environment for specialists from various institutions and disciplines.
The 2019 Film Librarians Conference will include paper presentations, panels, special screenings, keynote speakers, and optional tours. A full schedule of this year's program may be found on our website<http://libraryconference.oscars.org/>.
We look forward to seeing you all in Los Angeles!
