Please consider completing our machine learning survey.
The Hesburgh Libraries at the University of Notre Dame invite you to take part in a survey on the use of machine learning in cross-disciplinary research. The survey is a key instrument in the Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Planning Grant, “Investigating the National Need for Library Based Topic Modeling Discovery Systems.” [1] Among other goals, the survey will help assess the national need for library-based automated tools that support cross-disciplinary research.
The grant to date has supported four workshops across the United States, and the information gathered there will be combined with data from this survey. Diversity is important to our outcome, and we encourage all scholars, computer scientists and librarians to respond. We welcome participants across disciplines, and from institutions of all sizes and resource levels, regardless of the level of expertise with topic modeling or machine learning. Survey completion time will vary depending on individual experience but should take no longer than 10 minutes.
The survey is online --> https://nd.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0JP63EmyJSstZyZ
If you have any questions about the project or the survey, please don't hesitate to drop me a line.
