Hey all,
Now that #c4l20 is coming up soon, I just wanted to bring everyone's
attention to the Conduct & Safety <https://2020.code4lib.org/conduct/>
portion of the C4L 2020 site. This page includes important information
about what kinds of behavior we do not tolerate in our community, local
emergency and support resources, information about how to contact us, who
will be volunteering this year, Accessibility information, and our
photography policy.
Under the portion labeled On-Site Community Support Volunteers
<https://2020.code4lib.org/conduct/#schedule> are pictures of all of us. We
will also be wearing black and white striped lanyards so you can easily
pick us out. During all days of the conference, including pre-conference
and sponsored evening activities, we will be available to help provide
support for anyone who has been harassed, threatened, abused, or feels the
CodeOfConduct4Lib
<https://github.com/code4lib/code-of-conduct/blob/master/code_of_conduct.md>
has been violated during the conference. We want this to be a safe,
welcoming space for all, so I would encourage all of you to familiarize
yourselves with this information. Let's work together to make this an
inclusive, welcoming, (hopefully) incident-free, space!
Thank you,
--
