Here are a few more adminisdtratativia bullet points:
* Many people do not want to get job posting notifications, and most
people can turn off such things. If you have created a LISTSERV
username/password combination, then you can turn off the "jobs" topic
via the Web interface:
http://lists.clir.org/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=CODE4LIB
Alternatively, anybody can send the LISTSERV a SET command via email:
mailto:[log in to unmask]:%20-jobs
Unfortunately, turning on or off the topics options is only
functional if you are not getting messages via digest mode.
From the documentation:
Finally, it is important to note that topics are active only when
your subscription is set to MAIL. Digests are indexes always
contain all the postings that were made because the same digest
is prepared and sent to all the subscribers.
* Postings to the list are expected to adhere to the Code4Lib Code of
Conduct. For more detail. see:
https://github.com/code4lib/code-of-conduct/blob/main/code_of_conduct.md
* In this day and age of anonymous, obtuse, and obfuscated email
addresses, you are encouraged (but not required) to sign your postings
with your real name and affiliation.
* All of yesterday's and today's bullet points are echoed on the
Code4Lib Wiki:
