The California Digital Library (CDL) at the University of California is recruiting for an Application Programmer to join its Publishing, Archives, and Digitization team. The position is a three-year, 50% time role.
The incumbent will work collaboratively with senior developers and product and service managers to build and maintain innovative tools to support implementation, reporting, and analysis of the UC’s open access policies and the Lawrence Berkeley Lab’s open access funding mandate across multiple platforms. They will also have the opportunity to build connections between platforms and to participate in both intra- and cross-team pair programming projects.
CDL is a unit within the University of California Office of the President, has a staff of 70+ and is located in downtown Oakland. Applicants from outside the Bay Area who wish to work remotely will be considered.
