The Medical Library Association (MLA) is now accepting applications for the Eugene Garfield Research Fellowship<https://www.mlanet.org/p/cm/ld/fid=307>. The fellowship awards $5,000 to a recipient or a research collaboration group to be used for research-related purposes regarding the discoverability in information science.
The research may incorporate topics such as informatics, expert searching, systematic reviews, critical appraisal, scholarly communication, data science, reference management, or other areas focused on ways to improve discoverability and dissemination of information.
MLA awards the fellowship through a competitive grant process to a qualified health sciences librarian, health professional, researcher, educator, or health administrator. The awardee will be notified in spring 2022.
Applications are due by December 1st, 2021.
An application must include:

* Detailed research proposal
* Two reference letters
