POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Kelvin Smith Library seeks a Digital Scholarship Partner (DSP). The DSP is responsible for managing a balanced portfolio of four key activities in support of the programs of the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship Team: (1) programming and coding support and research collaboration; (2) data analysis and machine learning support and research collaboration; (3) exploration of emerging digital scholarship tools, technologies, techniques, and applications; (4) digital scholarship instruction and partner engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, with completion of a second advanced degree within an area of specialization preferred; BA/BS in a relevant discipline.

The Kelvin Smith Library is a dynamic, technology-rich, highly collaborative organization and the recipient of the 2019 ACRL Excellence in Academic Libraries Award. KSL is a member of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), OhioLINK, and CNI. Supported by an endowment, the servicesof the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship advances research by partnering with scholars and providing expertise on suite of digital scholarship services. Founded in 1826, the University is an internationally recognized private research university serving 5,383 undergraduates and 6,491graduate students with a full-time faculty of 3,695. Situated in Cleveland’s vibrant University Circle cultural community, CWRU is an integral partner with world-class cultural organizations such as the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Western Reserve Historical Society, the Cleveland Botanical Garden, and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
